How it started in Bloomfield
Angelo Posteraro and his father opened in the heart of Bloomfield in 1976, bringing a true Italian dining experience to the neighborhood Pittsburgh has always called Little Italy. From day one, the goal was simple: cook great pizza and take care of the people who walked through the door.
The family behind the oven
Today, Angelo's is carried forward by Joe Posteraro, whose pizza-making craft has been honed over decades of dedication to the family tradition.
